we went to Bukit Batok Home for the Aged for a home visit today. we had to meet in at at 10am to prepare for the show, everything. we reached the home at around 2. While the erlderly were siting down, we served them drinks and some soda biscuits. Saras, aqidah and me were the hosts as we had to speak the 4 main languages in singapore, eng, chi, malay, tamil so that the elderly would understand what we are talking about. we performed some singings and dancings. after that, 1 elderly wants me to sing... haiz...i was so embarrassed to sing cos i was afraid that they wouldn't like it. budden to my surprise, the response wasn't bad after all. hehehe...i really had fun there. we spent time talkinga nd playing some simple games with the elderly. and before we leave, we invited some elderly to dance the friendship dance with us. haha..fun sia...den we waved goodbye to them.
jason, baoyu, jieyu and 1 were walkin' and walkin', but we doesn't know that the others were also followin' us. haix..then we crossed the roads. i don't really know how long the bus will take so i asked them who is staying near yew tee mrt stn as i am. 3 of them are. so we decided to take a cab home and pay on dutch. i got home at around 4+. then i spent the whole afternoon watching televisison programmes, and slept without offin' the television..pro sia..
although i was quite tired after the home visit budden it's really fun. i got to know more about the history for the world war too. heehee..
