Was on MC for 3 days straight, it was so bad! The pain started on Tue night so I went to my usual GP on Wed and was given MC. The pain came back again, worse than before, on Wed night, thus, went to A&E since it was already 11 p.m.. Goodness, the pain could kill me just like that. My BP was hitting the roof at 158/99! A&E MO gave me IV Tramadol, had me under ob till early morning, and threw me another 2 days of MC plus oral Ome & Mag.
Even though I was on MC, I still got work to do, just that I can do it from home officially. I slept, woke up, sent e-mail, went back to sleep, woke up again, and sent e-mail again for that 2 days.
Went for buffet dinner with dad, SK, HY, Tok, Lam and his missus, Serene, on Friday. I was not fully recovered then, but this dinner was planned much earlier for my birthday & HY's farewell (he's resigning from SMRT and going back to Msia), thus, it's not nice of me to tell them that I couldn't go and of course, they didn't know I was unwell to not spoil the mood.
Lam and his wonders: he brought Cordon Bleu to the dinner! Hahaha! We (except Serene & dad cause of his op) finished that bottle, I didn't drink much, probably just 3 glasses of on the rock. It was real nice to be with them. We were laughing non-stop during the whole dinner! Hahahahaha!
I soooo wanted to go 美歌坊 but they didn't want to, went to KBox after dinner instead. Another bottle of Hennessy, but Lam & Serene didn't join us since they got to do Qing Ming prayers on Sun morning. I was so tired till I was sleeping in the cab and knocked out straight on the bed when we got home. Hahahaha!
And that darn Mag caused me diarrhea, so I stopped that med. Took my BP earlier: 140/90 (duh, I am still in pain, of course). Dr Tay changed to Strocain + Domper, and to continue Ome. He said to check BP again next week.
And now, the pain is still hanging around. Irritating.
